| MEDICINE: Our medical Internships are designed for those who wish to work in a medical environment. We can provide non-academic work mes that will provide specific work experience in Ecuador and offer a huge potential to upgrade your CV with valuable International exposure. Within the 'medical' areas, we normally have the following options: Ophthalmology, Surgery, Oncology, Gynaecology, Dermatology, Cardiology, Dental Health, Neurology, Paediatrics, Emergency and many other different medical fields. It is important to be aware that Interns do not have medical responsibilities. These placements are usually for intense observation of how a job is performed in a specific specialization. Depending on the placement, Interns will have the opportunity to assist the doctors (determined by their enthusiasm and their aptitude to learn new things) and will be able to receive hands-on experience of administering care to the Ecuadorian people. We base our Internship mes in a medical clinic, public or privates hospitals, rehabilitation centres, nursing homes or NGOs. Skills intern could acquire: Ability to effectively communicate history, context, and analysis of current problems, capacity to work well with people of all cultural, education and socio-economic backgrounds, ability to work independently and handle multiple related tasks and projects and again considerable experience on your medical field.
