Ecuador Internship Programs

EDUCATION: The Intern should develop and implement a comprehensive plan aimed at meeting the educational needs of various groups or individuals. While no specific skills are required, a willingness to learn about community resources and work in a team is essential you will liaise with classroom staff, design and implement lessons/plans/activities for other members of the project. Besides, you will also have the opportunity to teach languages such as: English, French, etc. Teaching English is a fun, rewarding, and worthwhile experience. In this me, you will teach English at either a public or private school, depending on demands at the time of the work. Most of the time, interns in teaching projects work as instructors. These English teachers are more than welcome to participate in other school activities, such as sports or health mes during their time at the school. It is not necessary that Intern comes from an English-speaking country in order to become a teaching Intern, although is highly recommended. We welcome Interns that have a working knowledge of English, as well as the desire to share their knowledge with students who are eager to learn. Skills you could acquire: Ability to motivate students to learn, ability to make critical observations, ability to improve communication skills, creativity and organizational skills and develop your interest and ability in teaching/training.

Internship Location

Our professional medical internship is located across Ecuador.

Accommodation and Meals

During the stay in the program, interns will live with a carefully screened host family which will provide with a single, clean, modest, comfortable and safe room as well as local meals three times a day. No lunch on Sundays.

Dates, Duration and Application Deadline

This internship opportunity runs all year-round for 4-24 weeks in length and start every Monday so interns should arrive 1 or 2 days early. Interns choose their own start dates. Applications are accepted up to 4 weeks prior to departure or start date.

Pick-up/Meeting

Interns will be met outside the airport terminal by an ELEP representative holding a placard with your name on it. Please provide us your flight information up to 2 weeks prior departing from your home-country so that a punctual pick-up/meeting can be arranged.

Application Fee: $ 100

Internship Program Cost: $ 680 for 4 weeks. Every extra week is $ 119.

$ 1200. 2 weeks of Spanish lessons + 6 Internship work. Every extra week is $ 119.

$ 1700. 4 weeks of Spanish lessons + 8 Internship work. Every extra week is $ 119.
