Ecuador Internship Programs

AGRICULTURE AND THE NATURAL RESOURCES: In Ecuador we have numerous organic and non-organic farms where an Intern could be placed. This kind of Internships investigates the development of agriculture and the natural resources on a variety of settings and the impact of technology and other tools on ecosystem processes and how human activities impact the Earth's environment on a global scale. This take place in a normal farm where chemical fertilizers and pesticides are used or in an eco-farm where organic fertilizers are used and pesticides are made of chilli pepper, jalapeno pepper, etc., and depending of the eco-system, it is possible to be placed in the coastal lowland, highland or even on the Galapagos Islands. Skills you could acquire: Knowledge about collecting data and using scientific principles to solve problems, learn to protect the environment and improving the quality of life, improving your knowledge in the life sciences, knowledge of social and environmental interactions as well as communication and group works skills.

Internship Location

Our professional medical internship is located across Ecuador.

Accommodation and Meals

During the stay in the program, interns will live with a carefully screened host family which will provide with a single, clean, modest, comfortable and safe room as well as local meals three times a day. No lunch on Sundays.

Dates, Duration and Application Deadline

This internship opportunity runs all year-round for 4-24 weeks in length and start every Monday so interns should arrive 1 or 2 days early. Interns choose their own start dates. Applications are accepted up to 4 weeks prior to departure or start date.

Pick-up/Meeting

Interns will be met outside the airport terminal by an ELEP representative holding a placard with your name on it. Please provide us your flight information up to 2 weeks prior departing from your home-country so that a punctual pick-up/meeting can be arranged.

Application Fee: $ 100

Internship Program Cost: $ 680 for 4 weeks. Every extra week is $ 119.

$ 1200. 2 weeks of Spanish lessons + 6 Internship work. Every extra week is $ 119.

$ 1700. 4 weeks of Spanish lessons + 8 Internship work. Every extra week is $ 119.
